BIO
Nimrod Shoval Shrem is a virtuoso guitarist from Israel.
He is also a composer and arranger. An experienced player, always looking to learn and create new things. He writes music in various genres, combining different ideas from all places. Graduated from Alef School of Arts and Rimon school of music, focusing on performance and composition, and currently attending Berklee College of Music. Growing up on bands such as Guns n’ Roses, Metallica and Queen, he continued to discover the progressive sound through Dream Theater, Genesis and Alan Parsons Project. Stevie Wonder and Sting also inspire his sense of melody. He was a member in the band “The Wednesdays” for two years playing guitar, writing and arranging for the band. Some of the band’s material was played on the radio in Israel. Nimrod is inspired by many musical genres, consisting of Rock, Prog, Metal, Classical Music, Musical Theater, Fusion, Funk, Folk, Pop, Alternative and Film Music. Has studied with accomplished musicians including Tiger Okoshi, Jon Finn, Randy Roos, Scotty Johnson, Norm Zocher, Edmond Gilmore.
Nimrod is currently working on several concept albums in the style of progressive rock, and an instrumental solo album.
